Criterion have recently announced that the Toy Cars pack will be available on the PlayStation Store and XBOX Live Marketplace tomorrow!
They said:
The Toys Pack will be released on console this Thursday!
Keep an eye on the Twitter tab and our in-game Criterion Games Network for up-to-the-minute info on when these are available in the in-game store, PlayStation Store and Xbox live Marketplace.
We’ll be back with all the information on all 9 mini vehicles and how to get them on Thursday morning.
Will Criterion never cease to amaze use with their downloadable add-ons?! Just when we thought we’d got enough, from all the major updates, and information of the Party Pack, now we get four classic cars from the game, modified to parody film cars!
The new legendary cars pack adds a Back To The Future, hovering n’all, version of the Jansen P12. You also get the Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, KITT from Knight Rider styled GT, and even the General Lee in the form of a Cavalry! These are sure to bring even more fun to Paradise City, just don’t go over 88mph in the Jansen…
The guys at Criterion have recently joined up with Zazzle to offer a range of Burnout Paradise Merchandise to all of their loyal Burnout fans to enjoy.
Mugs, Caps, T-Shirts and Posters. Each product has a Burnout themed logo and/or graphic.
A new addition to Burnout Paradise has just been announced by the Criterion Team. It goes by the name of Burnout Paradise Party.
Party will enable you, and up to 7 of your friends, to play on one console. It uses a ‘pass the controller’ style of play and includes many challenges such as ‘who can drive oncoming for the longest?’.
The new pack will add new Party-style GFX to the Burnout Game and will be available in Feb 2009 (for PS3 and 360). It will also be included in the new “Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box” on PC in the same month.
I have finally managed to get a Freeburn Fighters RSS up and running. I decided to use the same tools as Criterion Games, so I went with Feedburner.com. This will allow you to keep up to date with the latest FF and Burnout stories, even when you’re not on the site.
Click below to Subscribe to the RSS, and add it to your Bookmarks or Firefox toolbar, as I do. You can also use the Menu on the iPhone site to read the RSS.
It’s here! You can now download the best racer EVER to grace the PS3 direct from the Store. It’s priced at £24.99 GBP and is just over 3GB in size. It features everything from the Disc version of the game, and once you’ve installed it, you can download all the FREE downloadable content (Bogart, Cagney & Burnout Bikes).
And on the EU Store, Burnout has totally taken over the Store. This is a first for any game which has been featured on the Store! Check it out!
For those of you that don’t already own the game, or for those of you who simply are too lazy to get up and change the disc, you’ll be interested to know that Burnout Paradise is coming to PSN as a full game download this Thursday. Whilst having all of the original disc content, it will come with the Bogart and Cagney patches already applied. No pricing has been revealed, although I’d expect it to be £24.99.
Also, the trophy patch is now said to be ‘imminent’, which should hopefully mean within the week. Go Criterion!
